Shortlet Rentals does not allow physical inspection of any property before a booking confirmation because all properties listed on the platform have been throughly inspected for quality before approval on the platform.
However, In the unlikely event that you check into your rental and you don’t like the space due to the accommodation not being in perfect condition (for example- an amenity as described not working) you have the right to reject the booking and not check in. We will immediately find you an alternative accommodation or we will refund you within a few hours
If at any time during your stay you find your rental space isn’t as advertised—for example, an amenity isn’t functional or stops working and your Host can’t easily fix it within 24 hours- you’ll have to report it immediately and we’ll find you a similar or better home, or we’ll refund you for remaining unused nights.
In the unlikely event a Host needs to cancel your booking unexpectedly, we’ll find you a similar or better home, or we’ll refund you.
What to do if the place you’re staying in isn’t clean at check in
Send a message to Shortlet Rentals Support team immediately via WhatsApp. We will reach out to the Host to discuss a solution first. It’s likely that they’ll be able to help fix the issue immediately. If your Host can’t help or you’d like to request a refund, we’re here to support you. kindly message us via WhatsApp to request for a full refund.
